Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 24, 2026

1. Overview

MorseStreamer is designed as a standalone utility application. This service is provided by the developer at no cost and is intended for use exactly as it is built.

This document describes the privacy practices of MorseStreamer. It outlines how we handle data and explains our commitment to preserving your privacy. By using this application, you agree to the terms specified in this policy.

2. Data Collection & Usage

We firmly believe that your personal data belongs to you. Therefore, MorseStreamer operates under a strict offline-first, local-processing architecture:

No Personal Data Collection

The application does not collect, track, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). There are no user account creation screens, profile configurations, or identity checks.

On-Device Processing

All text-to-Morse conversions, telegraph pulse rendering, sound generations, and trainer inputs are calculated dynamically on your device. No input history is shared outside your device.

Because we do not transmit any input sequences, your raw messages, text configurations, and training sessions remain entirely confidential and secure on your physical Android device.

3. App Permissions

To deliver an immersive tactile and sensory experience, MorseStreamer requires specific device features. We use these features responsibly and locally:

  • Tactile Haptic Pulses (Vibrate Permission): Used exclusively to actuate the device’s vibration motor. This translates Morse dots and dashes into physical feedback in real-time. This processing occurs purely inside the local OS thread.
  • Audio System Access (AudioTrack API): Used to play generated sinewave audio signals simulating a telegraph keyer. This does not record audio from your microphone; it is strictly an output mechanism.

4. Third-Party Services

MorseStreamer does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, analytic trackers, telemetry monitors, or cloud databases.

The app is self-contained. Since there are no tracking frameworks included in our binary, no data is shared with external companies, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

5. Children's Privacy

These services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

Since the application completely avoids collecting any data from any users, we do not capture, maintain, or distribute data belonging to children. If you have any concerns regarding this aspect, please reach out directly using the email listed below.

6. Security & Safeguards

Because we do not collect or store data on external remote servers, there is no threat of server-side databases being compromised or exposed.

We highly recommend securing your physical Android device with standard pin codes, biological authentications, and encryption settings to keep all local app configurations safe from unauthorized local physical access.

7. Policy Updates

We may occasionally modify our Privacy Policy to align with new legal regulations or updates in Android's operating conditions.

Any adjustments will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Effective Date." We suggest that you check this page periodically for any adjustments.
